I liked the prologue in this book, going over what ridiculous things people did to win over their crushes. It reminds me of the not so long ago days that my friends did stupid things for crushes too. And faking being the front man of a band for a crush? I love that idea. I am a little worried about the writing though, with our main character, Sunny, who proudly calls himself a nerd, because he is. But who even calls people nerds anymore? I'm not sure. The narration style is pretty different from other contemporaries I've read, but I'm willing to give it a chance to see where this story goes. Can't wait to read it!
