I was cracking up and also feeling sort of sad for Sunny Dae right from the get go. The writing style and Sunny's way of telling a story reminds me a lot of Holes and Stanley Yelnats. As a big nerd myself, I feel for Sunny Dae. I'm a little worried from the blurb that in becoming "cool" and the front man for a rock band he's going to lose all the great nerdy things about himself, and I really hope that's not the way the author takes this book...

I adore the cover, and didn't even notice until the third time I looked at it that he has a d20 on his shirt!
