I was pleasantly surprised by this collection of poems, even though I'm not usually a fan of poetry. The book features a variety of themes and meanings, making each poem a unique and thought-provoking experience. I found the poems to be beautifully written, with insightful observations. One aspect I enjoyed was the organization of the poems by theme and context, which made it easy to navigate and appreciate the different perspectives presented. As a smaller book of poems, it’s a quick read, but it manages to bring a profound sense of calm while reading. While this collection may not ignite a newfound passion for poetry in me, it did provide an enjoyable experience. I really appreciated the opportunity to read an advanced copy and extend my thanks to the author for offering such a pleasant experience outside of my usual reading habits.
