Sun memos by Ziggy Alberts is a collection of poetry that focuses on big themes in life like love, the environment, and mental health. I rarely give 5 star reviews, and even more rarely to poetry because I tend to struggle to read it. This collection of poems was so incredibly meaningful. Not only was it easy to understand, it was complex and thoughtful. I loved how it addressed different issues in a way that was easy to understand, but brought new perspectives into the conversation. The writing style was fantastic and really made me think. My favorite section was the first one, which focused on mental health issues. The different poems really put things into words that I hadn't been able to before.
Overall, I give this one 5/5 stars. It was really amazing and I recommend it to anyone looking for something inspirational. It was a quick read, but left more of an impact on me than anything I have read recently.
