I'm not gonna lie, the first thing that got my attention was the cover, it's such a beautiful cover and then I read the synopsis and I was like OK I NEED TO READ THIS ASAP.
and it didn't disappointed at all.
This book is a retelling of the tale of The Three Kingdom, I didn't know the tale and that didn't affect my reading experience but it can be different to the people who growth up hearing this tale.
I know the gender of the characters are different from the original tale, and I think that's really cool, showing women can be strategists and warriors to. And speaking of strategist, the one on this book, omg, Zephyr was definitely my fave character of all, from the first minute she's introduced to the story, she showed her skill, intelligence and talent, and you kept intrigued by what else she would, and let me tell you she definitely will surprise you.
