I thought the book Strike The Zither by Joan He was a good read. I absolutely love the cover of this one and I really appreciate the wonderful character art and book map that it has in its first few pages. I think this book has a wonderful concept and a lot of potential, but unfortunately it didn’t hold my attention as well as I had hoped. The character art definitely helped me to visualize the characters, but I didn’t find myself really loving any of the characters which made it harder for me to get into the book. And although the storyline had me interested and intrigued, the pacing was a bit slow in spots, so it didn’t hold my attention at all times. I’m curious as to where the story is going to go in the next book, but I don’t know that I feel the need to continue the series. If you like young adult fantasies, you may want to consider giving this one a try 😊
