The cover is strikingly beautiful. The tale starts out fast-paced, and we can see Zephyr’s personality within a few sentences, displaying Joan He’s talent in showing, not telling. Readers are dropped into the middle of the action, and the plot twist right before the excerpt ends has me looking forward to the rest of the book!
