As a disclaimer, I love Joan He and have been super hyped about her new duology. That being said, I fell in love with Zephyr about 3 pages into the story. The first look pulled me into this new world right away, and I'm looking forward to reading more! And can we also talk about all the small details in the book like the gorgeous character illustrations at the beginning and the Chinese characters used for the chapter headings? Love it.
