In Stop Missing Your Life, Cory Muscara carefully and kindly introduces the reader to mediation and it's various techniques. Throughout the book, Muscara shares his mediation story in an attempt to show how it helped him and also illustrate how the techniques work in real life. By doing so, Muscara illustrates how through meditation we can become more comfortable with ourselves, the people around us and our world. We can also fully experience each and every moment in the present. I found the tone of the book to be honest and comforting. Muscara writes in a manner that is easy to understand and doesn't overwhelm the reader, especially if they aren't familiar with meditation. I look forward to trying some of Muscara's meditation techniques and would recommend this book to anyone interested in learning more about themselves and the benefits of meditation.
