Sounded useful...at first

The book captured my attention for awhile, and I thought it might be useful. However, the author started to lose me after his Wall Street story. It felt like he was trying way too hard to show how he wasn’t impressed by the trappings of success and instead wanted to pursue “happiness.” When he talked about deferring $50,000 in student loans to travel to Burma to live like a monk...that was it for me. I am not going to waste my time reading anything from someone who does that, let alone take their advice seriously. I’d rather listen to the hedge fund manager’s power point presentation that this author thought he was so above.
