My favorite part of this book is when the author brought up how so many people are at the place of wanting to be meaningfully present. They want happiness beyond putting up a facade of happiness. I thought about You're Not Listening by Kate Murphy (another book from bookishfirst) in the sense that people feel they cannot be present- they are not safe to be present in many spaces. This book promises us to challenge to part of ourselves that is traumatized thus having walls up against being present.
I feel kind of I don't know if I'll really like this book or not but I think so far I like that it goes beyond the typical be present conversation.
