“When you love someone, you love all of them. You gotta love everything about them, not just the good things, but the bad things, too. It’s how you find forgiveness.”

Julie Holliday and Dan Holliday have been married 30 years. They built their empires from scratch and are successful at their businesses — Julie with her bakery, and Dan with his construction business. Yet somehow, their success belies their relationship. It was a relationship built on lies. But it wasn’t like that in the beginning. Soon, Dan’s indiscretions started to emerge. That was ten years ago, and now the final straw — a seemingly innocuous note. A note that contained a name. A woman’s name.

After years of struggling with trust issues and separation anxiety, Julie Holliday ultimately leaves her husband to start fresh in Rhode Island. There, Julie begins to find herself by forming new friendships, and interests while allowing her faith to guide and strengthen her.

Still Crazy is a faith based story of one woman’s courage and determination to finally follow her own path to happiness. While some readers might not appreciate the religious references, I found it to be very refreshing. To read how one’s faith could play a major role in their own happiness gave me pause to reflect on how faith has an impact on people’s lives.

A heartwarming novel, Still Crazy is one book that I truly enjoyed. It’s a clean read with wonderful loving characters and a touching story. Five heartfelt stars.

I received a finished copy of the book from Judy Prescott Marshall through the Bookish First raffle. The review herein is completely my own and contains my honest thoughts and opinions.
