I found this book to be very fast-paced and one of those quick reads that you might pick up on vacation or a short break from school. I liked the characters back stories a lot and wish there had been a little bit more information about that. The spy aspect was well-researched and fun to read about. My biggest issue was probably the romance. I just didn’t buy it and it seemed like insta-love to me. They didn’t have anything in common other than a sad background and physical attraction. I didn’t see any reason to root for them. Also when I reached the climax of the story I was like, that’s it? There’s nothing else? I just felt that there were a lot of places that the story could have been fleshed out more. The side characters were interesting and I think if there were a sequel I may pick it up. Overall, it’s a fast and enjoyable read, just not one of my favorites.
