After reading the first look, I am certain “Stars & Smoke” is geared towards a younger audience. Something about this felt very juvenile, and the cartoon imagery on the cover did not convince me otherwise. Nonetheless, the storyline is truly unique and original. I know I’d like to read more and see how this heartthrob pop-star becomes a secret agent. Also, I’m eager to find out what happened to Winter’s brother. Even though this isn’t my typical read, I may have to read on to see what happens next!
