Wow, I really loved this book! Starfish was a fun read and had a great message! Ellie's story was really touching and I loved the free verse format! Lisa Fipps did a great job with both the writing style and how the story played out! The free verse flowed really well and kept you constantly turning the page to read the next story and the next one! Be prepared to read it all in one sitting as you won't be able to put it down. The characters were great and each had their own story and personality. I loved getting to see Ellie slowly begin to change from hating herself to loving every part of her and being proud of herself. Starfish had me crying by the end and it's such a good book with a wonderful message about acceptance, love, and being yourself! Lisa Fipps knocked it out of the park with this one and I would highly recommend anyone pick it up for a great read!
