This is one of those books that will stick with me forever. While yes this is a middle grade book, its a must read for everyone! We follow the story of Ellie, a young fat girl and all the rules that she has learned by being a fat girl in the world. We see the pain that words cause and the weight she carries because of these words. She learns that she will not make herself small to make others, who are supposed to love and protect her feel better for the way they treat her. The prose is done in such a beautiful and lyrical way that you will not be able to put this book down! I truly cannot recommend this book enough to everyone! So please do yourself the favor and pick this one up!
