As a former fat girl who was told on multiple occasions that I would be "so pretty if you lost weight", I cannot overstate how important this book is. I wish I had had something like this when I was growing up just so I could have felt less alone. Lisa Fipps has written a book that will change and improve lives, and she has done so in prose that is flowing, beautiful, emotional, and raw. I am 29 years old and I am still utterly entranced by this story and want to know how it ends. Kudos to her for reaching out to the girls who have been made to feel less than because they were more.
