I think this book is perfectly written for those in the younger age category. Being a teen is a hard. Having low self-esteem is hard. Being both at the same time-- even harder. I feel this would be great in middle school classrooms. The use of poetry is an interesting way to write about the topic and making it more accessible for struggling readers!
