In some cases, I love book in verse. Poet X, for example, was done well. However, from the first impression of this book, it wasn't working for me. This doesn't seem to tell a consecutive story, but is the protaganist constantly dealing with being fat-shamed. This is a great concept for a story, but I'm not sure it works for me in this format.
