Wow! That was a gripping beginning! I found myself super invested from the very first page. I could honestly see this appealing to adult and YA readers alike. Nothing about it screams YA in the first look, other than the protagonist's age, but I think this premise is super compelling. I like the straightforward conversation that Jessica has with her liaison, and I think the book does a good job of explaining the science of what's happening without overwhelming the reader or the explanation feeling too forced. So far, it's felt really natural and engaging. I would absolutely love to read more to see the drama of the transport-gone-wrong unfold. I think the cover is super eerie and striking. I can definitely see this one being a big hit!
