After finishing the First Look, I’m totally enamored with this intriguing read! Being older than the target audience, I didn’t think I would get into this young adult novel, but I was absolutely blown away by what I read thus far! I love the vivid descriptions of Carver 1061c and the futuristic technology described, and the storyline (two Jessica’s!) is so intriguing! And I will admit, I am already heavily invested in the relationship between Jess and her crush, Avery. I can’t wait to read on for that reason alone, and will admittedly be disappointed if this storyline dead ends!
I do wish the cover was more colorful, but it does look futuristic and space-y so it fits with the vibe of the book.
