I don't normally read contemporary novels but there was something about Sparrow that made me check it out. Going in with the knowledge that there would be abuse (and preparing myself), I was completely startled to find playful bantering between Sparrow and Tristan. I suppose this is what people call the honeymoon phase of a relationship (even though Tristan does weird me out).
I'm interested in reading more, especially as this sounds like it might be an aftermath and recovery type of book to a topic I feel is incredibly important
