I really enjoyed the first chapter of this book and wish I hadn't read the summary of the book, as it upends some of the nice groundwork being laid already. The action starts instantly, giving us a moving picture of our main character and her struggles as she tries to navigate high school life and a strict ballet instructor. I'm long out of high school and don't know anything about or appreciate ballet, but I look forward to reading this book.
