I'm not usually a big fan of YA contemporary fiction, but the description of this book made me stop and take a deeper look. After reading the excerpt, I can say that this is definitely a novel made for readers of all genres and a story that will resonate with almost everyone. Sparrow's story will break your heart and then have you fighting for (and with) her to finally find happiness, safety, and peace.
