I liked this book well enough. It was pretty imaginative and fun. I loved the main characters and the storyline enough. But the book was lacking something for me. At times I was pushing myself through certain scenes just to get through it. I suppose I'm not the typical reader for a type of book like this as I don't read much of romance and don't particularly enjoy it and this is a YA fantasy romance but the fantasy elements were fun. And to the books defense the romance was sweet in my opinion. I definitely would recommend it to people who read the synopsis and are intrigued because it will be worth the read. I liked it just didn't love it. Overall I'm glad I read it though. The flower details on the pages are a fun touch as you get to each new chapter too. Hope they kept that in the finalized published edition.
