I love a good fantasy novel, and this is not only that, but a fairy tale retelling set in historical Vietnam. I am very in to the "own voices" movement, and from the get go I appreciate the cultural elements present in the book. Also, at the risk of sounding like I am making a bad pun of the title, the language is very flowery. It seems like a story it is easy to get lost in, and I am definitely intrigued!
