Predictable beginning but wonderful writing

The cover of this book is absolutely beautiful, and the writing draws you right in. While I predicted the way the beginning would go from the first words, it was still wonderfully written and I could see everything happening in my mind. This sounds like it will be a great adventure, and I hope to read more of it.
