I am absolutely intrigued by this atmospheric story that has an ancient fairy tale aura about it, which is enhanced by the beautiful cover. Just from reading the first few chapters, I am irrevocably hooked on the story and the main characters' plight. The descriptive writing has caused some powerful emotions in me already, especially anger at Tam and his mother and heartbreak for poor, sweet Bao. I need to find out what happens next as soon as possible!
