This read younger than I was expecting, but I suppose that's not a bad thing, since I also read the original quite young. It may also have been because we're introduced to Amy first, though I thought the voice stayed steady even as we shifted between characters. Overall I'm quite excited for this one and think it will be a fresh, welcome twist on the story.
