I always loved the Little Women story, and I recently read and loved the Jo & Laurie alternate story. So Many Beginning is already fascinating, telling a similar story from the perspective of a black family after the Civil War. It's Little Women, but so new and fresh and different! I'm excited to continue reading this one, I love historical fiction that shows new perspectives that we haven't over-read before!
