I'm not opposed to reinterpretations of Little Women, in whatever form they may come, although I do get tired of people repurposing general storylines. Unfortunately, So Many Beginnings does not get off to a start that appeals. The first chapter is composed of Amy moping about the house, because her family is at work. The second chapter transitions to Jo, but this isn't any better because it seems like most of the chapter is made up of fragmented thoughts and run-on sentences. The start of this story was a major turnoff for me.
