I've been looking forward to this for awhile, and I love Morrow's earlier work. So far, I love this reimagining of Little Women starring a freed Black family during and after the Civil War--it straddles the line between paying homage to Alcott's original but also being fresh and contemporary-minded in many ways. Can't wait to read the full novel.
