I'm super intrigued by that fact that this is a retelling of the Little Women classic. Typically, I don't like retellings when it is based on a specific book, but I'm liking it so far. I think it is compelling to have this retelling involve characters of a minority group. I think it will make this book important for the time we live in. However, even with all these positives, I'm not feeling the need to continue. Before I even think of reading a retelling of Little Women, I need to read the original first.
