So Many Beginnings by Bethany C. Morrow is an amazing retelling of Little Women from the perspective of an African American family and sticks to the coming of age roots we all love. The cover is gorgeous and it helps with visualizing each of the March daughters. The excerpt showed that the pacing is good and the story flows well. So far each character in the excerpt is interesting and I was eager to see what happens in their storyline. It is a period piece, so this would be great for anyone into historical fiction.
