K. J. Howe is a terrific writer and a nice person. Had the pleasure of meeting her at Bouchercon this year and she was amazing. As in her first novel The Freedom Broker, her heroine Thea Paris is a strong powerful female. She is a kidnapping expert and she uses her powers and experience to help with a hijacking while she is escorting to children to Africa. The action is very intense and Paris uses both her strength and intelligence to keep the plane and herself in the air!!! Howe is fast becoming one of the major forces in this genre!! I highly recommend that you pick this book or The Freedom Broker! I guarantee that he will be spell bound and up all night reading!! Pick this book up and enjoy it!!
