This is book two in a new thriller series. Confession: I have not read book one and I don't think I missed anything I need to understand this volume. I flat out enjoyed the wild ride with this book. So many times I had to stop, go back and say WTF, that didn't just happen. If I had to paint this story, it would be an elaborate French braid with ribbons intertwined. The relationships between the various characters and the continual action and counter action and backstabbing and betrayals almost make one want a scorecard.
There was a fair amount of unexpected humor in this book. I was constantly between laughing and shaking my head over the events of the story.
I received my copy of this book from BookishFirst.
