I first met Thea in the first KJ Howe book and was eager to read the followup. I was lucky to get a chance to read Skyjack and I was NOT disappointed. I love that from the very first of the book you are sucked into action. It is heart pounding reading the airplane parts!!! The story zips along and there are so many great characters to meet and love. It is also extremely nice to have a woman hero! Thea is extremely calm in the face of danger and yet can be so caring towards the kids that are traveling with her. It is nice to not only have a woman hero as the main character but for her to have something like diabetes that she just seems to take in stride and is able to deal with it like so many people that have this horrible disease. Huge kudos to KJ Howe on yet another great book. She is a must read author!
