A thrilling beginning!
Wow, Skyjack doesn't waste any time. In the first few pages, we are introduced to Thea and her job as a kidnap negotiator, and given a hint about her family tension. The opening scene is set in-flight and the author does a great job of building a nervous mood before the first sign of trouble emerges. I've watched movies with similar storylines but never read a book like this, but it seems just as thrilling! I'm curious about where the story will go.
The cover seems like a good fit for the book. The bright golden sky is eye catching, and the airplane gives a clue about the story's plot.
