The cover of the book is so colorful and strange, like the shadow of the girl is a bird or something, it is what drew me to the book in the first place. The author of the book, Marie Lu, has always been an incredible author so I am not surprised that she put out another good book to sit down and read. I love sci-fi fantasies and this book seems to be right up my alley and seems to reach my expectations, on this genre of book. The main character of the book is so strong and incredible, and overall, I really liked the characters in this book as they bring value to the story. The story is very captivating and may I say breathtaking, and and it unfolds in a way that makes the reader want to know what happens next. I started to read the book and, not long in, I could not stop reading, I loved the idea of having ghosts in the story, it really takes it to another level.
