I finished this book yesterday but I couldn't figure out how to write a proper review. I loved this book so so much. I had a very hard time putting my thoughts into words. Marie Lu's books are always filled with adventure and lovely characters but this book is by far my favorite of hers. The characters and the story suck you in from the very first page.
This is a YA/sci-fi/dystopian story about a girl named Talin. Talin has trained her whole life to become a striker and protect her nation. She and her fellow strikers are the last defense against the ghosts(not actual ghosts but mutant beasts).
This is an awful description of the book but I don't want to give anything away. Just know that this book is filled with fighting, friendships, loyalties are tested, enemies become friends and maybe a blooming romance? I am so excited to see where Lu takes us in the next book!
