Marie Lu’s stories are so enthralling and her latest adventure Skyhunter takes the prize. This book was fantastic. The way she painted her main heroin is so real and honest. You can relate to Talin from the start and your understanding and appreciation for her only grows.
Marie Lu has such a unique way of constructing her book world. She really pays attention to details and makes it so the reader is able to easily follow along which I really appreciate.
The only thing I would change is adding a little more tricks and turns to keep the readers more on their toes. I was waiting for that suspense or ignite in the middle of the novel. I understand it’s only the first book in the series so I give some slack there to story building, I just wish I had one moment I wasn’t expecting.
All in all I loved the novel and can’t wait to see what is story for the Skyhunter world.
