I received this book last night and read it today. I love Marie Lu's writing style. She uses the perfect amount of descriptions that allow me to 'see' the book's setting. Her characters are always great, and if you appreciate strong women, this book has them. The story is engaging and at one point got so exciting I could not stop reading until I finished the book. The ending was not what I expected, in fact there were numerous surprises throughout the book. This book says it's for ages 12-17, but I think it would appeal to a much wider range. I'm in my 60s and I loved it.
I also loved Marie Lu's books Warcross and Wildcard.
