I love everything about this book which was not a surprise to me as it is written by Marie Lu. She is a fantastic world builder and as of late she has started very creative and out of the norm YA fantasy, which of course I am here for just that. Too many YA fantasies are cookie cutters of the many came before them but "Skyhunter" is different. It takes well known themes and creatures and gives new life to old stories. The cover is fabulous. It alone would have ensured it a spot on my shelf but thankfully the words inside warrant the cost. I have purchased a copy for the school library as well as having the giveaway copy personally. The adventure keeps you on your toes and i never knew what was coming next because it is so unexpected. This next publication from Marie Lu is a must for anyone who enjoys her other works and who enjoys both SciFi and Fantasy.
