Although this book was definitely not what I would usually read, it was a good book. I was initially drawn to this book because the cover was extremely well done. All of the characters were interesting and brought value to the story. The main character's story was interesting and the main character proved to be more dynamic. The setting was depicted extremely well. I felt as though I was a character watching all of these people throughout the book and that ultimately made the book more engaging. This book was definitely difficult to put down and proved to be a quick read. Overall, I am glad that I read this book and am interested to see what the sequel (if there is one) would be like.
The only part that I did not like is that some of the violence scenes were fairly graphic and pretty intense. Outside of that, I though the premise was interesting. I think this book would be appealing for Hunger Games fans.
