I have a soft spot for YA Dystopian. I also grew up reading Marie Lu's book and her legend series holds a special place in my heart. This one was another great one!! I love the dystopian trope with a slight romance that isn't too heavily focused on. The main character was interesting and the inclusion of sign language into the characters was such an interesting twist. As always, I loved the writing style of Marie Lu. Also, the relationships between all of the characters were beautiful and complex and I couldn't love them more. Fierce and fiercly loyal characters are also something I love in books. This book was full of tropes, characters and had a writing style that I enjoyed, making it perfect for me. Marie Lu does a great job at making the story relatable but also unique. This style of uniqueness but also familiarity is just so beautiful!
