"Skyhunter" was certainly interesting to hear about. I like most of Marie Lu's work and I found myself enjoying this one a bit more than I thought I would. I think my hesitance with reading it came from my rather difficult to pin down feelings on the "Warcross" series. Like the first books from her that I read (the "Legend" series, that is), I definitely found myself enjoying it within the first few chapters. It's certainly not an original take or concept, but it is enjoyable as it's own thing. The characters are likable but the plot does verge into the predictable. There are certainly things I didn't much care about and I disliked some aspects of the rather too convenient elements. It's overall an okay read.
