Wow... this one was amazing from start to finish. The fact that the main character is hearing impaired was something I have never seen before and I loved the disability representation! The characters developed well throughout the story, and the storyline was interesting. I never felt that there was a lull (boring part) to this book at all. In fact it was the opposite... there were twists and turns that kept me guessing throughout. The writing was great.... this was my first book by Marie Lu and I was nervous it was going to read really young.. but I was pleasantly surprised because I felt the writing was superb!
I would definitely recommend this book. It is the first in a series though, so anyone looking for a stand-alone this is not it... I repeat this is not it!
The only thing I was not a fan of... and that is just because I’m impatient lol is the cliff hanger ending!!!!
