I’ve always known *of* Marie Lu but have never read any of her books—and now, after reading this sample of Skyhunter, I cannot figure out why I haven’t. I love Lu’s writing style, it’s gripping and makes you invested in the characters from the very first page. And she is obviously very skilled at creating worlds—I already feel as if I understand a good amount of the culture of Mara despite only reading a few pages about it.
