Right from the beginning, this book drew me in. I love a story about a strong, female lead, especially when it comes to science fiction/fantasy.
My main apprehension with this book is the potential for romance between the main protagonist Talin and the "mysterious prisoner." I'm not a fan of insta-love.
However, I really like the writing so far, and the cover is absolutely beautiful. All-in-all, I'm excited to read this book!
