This ends on a pretty major cliffhanger

-I loved getting into another dystopian novel. This was my comfort place when I really started reading in high school.
-I loved the inclusion of different communication types and overall, the vibe was there.
-A band of BA fighter friends in a dystopian world is always a good mix
-loved the background reveal that happened slowly with the MC
ππππππ πΈ ππππβπ π΄ππππ’ ππ πΌπππ
Unfortunately, it was not as enthralling as I wished it would be. Iβve narrowed this down to a few things
1. The banter just wasnβt there for me with the cast.
2. The writing wasnβt enthralling. There were no leaps and bounds in the writing and it was fairly unadorned.
3. There was no romance. Ikikik but like in need something. I donβt usually require romance to enjoy a read, but this needed something to add dimension.
4. I just didnβt buy the universe.

Ehβ¦I am probably not going to read the second, but I could see some people really loving it.
